Wild Turkeys

Does anyone have any experience raising and keeping wild turkeys? Also, does anyone know where to buy them? Thanks

Check with your state conservation dept...most states you need a permit

Check with your local game warden or DNR agent. They will let you know what permit you will need. If they are allowed in your state, the state will know who has the permits to keep them.

Some states do not allow the possession and raising of wild turkeys at all and will not issue a permit.

I did a google search and did see a couple that sell wild turkey pullets. Like others said I'd check with the local DEC first and then order if you can.
