Wild Wyandottes! What should I do?

I didn't see any... also I've heard some mixed opinions about diatomaceous earth.

Well, we use it. Try not to get it in their eyes and I would put it in the place where they dust bathe so they can get in it if they want to or not and they're prepared so they don't inhale much of it.

Same... I don’t know what to make of it!

It's pretty simple.......DE won't kill lice or mites....nor will it prevent them.
Many believe it will do both,
but I've seen too many infestation stories where the keeper said:
"but I used DE all the time and everywhere"

I don't think I would use DE, lucky for me and the chickens, though, I didn't see any mites or lice! (I may check again later, though)

I just went out and visited the wyandottes. When I went to try touching Tiger again she did the mating crouch thingy! Hopefully she will lay soon!

It means she knows you're the head rooster XD she's acclimated quickly! Yes, hopefully so

Yes, I think so. Although I guess it really depends on how well they will get along with our other nine pullets once it is time to introduce them.

Well... most of the time she just runs away. Hopefully she will eventually get completely comfortable. I spent hours today digging through a mulch pile to find grubs for them . They will both eat out of my hand without getting awkward... so that's good!
