Wildlife Photo Contest

Natural beauty can be brought to life with photography by highlighting its splendor and wonder. By entering this contest, you will be challenged to practice your wildlife photography skills and capture the beautiful scenes of nature around you. Take part in the fun by submitting your most amazing natural wildlife pictures and stand a chance to win an awesome prize.
If entries warrant, we will split the contest into several categories - mammals, birds, bugs, and other (reptiles, amphibians, fish, etc.), with prizes for each category.
It's easy to enter, just reply to this thread with pictures of wild mammals, birds, insects, reptiles, amphibians, etc.!

Rules:
Photography tips from fellow BYC members:
- Four entries per member. One entry per post, please.
- An entry is one photo of a wild bird(s), insect(s), reptile(s), mammal(s), amphibian(s), etc. NO DOMESTIC POULTRY OR DOMESTIC WATERFOWL.
- Images that have been resized might be disqualified if they are too small to judge.
- No screenshots, watermarks, date stamps, text, etc., on the photo. No collages.
- No AI generated images. (added 2024-05-27)
- The photo needs to have been taken by you.
- You cannot use a photo that won an award in another BYC-sponsored contest.
- High-quality images are recommended. Basic editing, such as cropping and other subtle changes, are allowed.
- ALL photos MUST be uploaded to BYC and not hosted on other image sites, personal websites, etc.
- Prizes are limited to one per person per contest.
- All BYC rules apply: Terms of Service (Rules)
- Entries will be accepted through June 30th, 2024, at 11:59 PM Pacific Time.

I'm going to make a mid-flight rule change as well. No AI images will be considered for judging. We didn't add it because we didn't think we needed to. I will update post number one.

Do we need to add a "must be alive" rule too?
Was this at home or traveling? I know collared lizards range all the way to the ozarks but I didn't think they got as far north as where I mentally think of you living.
Just watched this happen in the backyard...
They were back together a half hour later.
