a juvenile blackbird that flew into one of our windows, recovering on the ground outside. I'm pleased to add that it flew off shortly after I took this

It's taken right outside my front door actually The moose was about 20 meters away. (yes, I live in the middle of the forest) I got an SLR camera with a pretty good zoom lens.

As for being scared, I do NOT want to get in between mama and her babies! All three of them are very chill though, I think mama is an old cow that's been hanging around here for years.

Here's another shot of a Cormorant on the causeway. It's a little bit closer than the last one but I'm still after a tight face shot.... maybe one day.

No picks we hunt from the ground and i was sitting in a group of saplings with my legs out in front of me and they walked over my legs like they were a log i could have hit them with the bill of my hat they were that close i didnt want to spook them it may have hurt if they trampled my legs
