3lbs and yes he was.... very tasty. Got 2 Mon night and tried a new spot last night and got 5 in less than an hour which is the new limit now. Forgot the good camera of course....

Hello! I finally got a picture -- a little spider on one of the many Phlox plants in the garden:

I don't know what kind it is, but it's pretty cute.

Pacific tree frog.
I keep a habitat for them in our dry summers.

The habitat was invaded!

I tried using some of your tips with my cell phone, but the focusing was poor.

It is a bullfrog, yes? I've never seen one. They are invasive here and eat other frogs in addition to anything else that fits in their mouths. My precious tree frogs were in danger, so Mugsey the bullfrog is in a tote in the garage awaiting her fate. Just not sure what to do with her.
