Just now saw this thread! I have some wildlife pics! Some red tailed hawks live in our field, but I’ve never been able to get a picture of them. I’ll try sometime. 😂

Thank you! So how can I tell the difference?
Herons fly with their neck bent and head tucked in so they look short necked, with long trailing legs.
Cranes fly with their neck outstretched like a goose and also trail their long legs behind.

If you see one perching in a tree it'll be a heron.
