Look who paid me a visit this morning! First time I've seen one of these guys in my yard. A Ring-necked Pheasant. Pics were through the window, so not the best, but he's gorgeous.

Managed to get some decently sharp kite photos with my 300mm the other day unfortunately it was so dark I have had to badly Photoshop a background as it blew up bright white

I want to add something i forgot to mention! For anyone worried about the Tiger Swallowtails tattered wings (picture 3) he could fly perfectly fine! They are the hindwings (only a tad is missing from the bottom forewing) so flight was affected very little since it was the hindwing. I raised the monarchs in picture one and two to release them as i do with all my monarchs every year, however, i did not raise the other two butterflies so i have no idea how the wing got like that.
