Wildlife Photography

For a little more context, the Glendale Recharge ponds are a surface water holding area on the west side of Phoenix that are part of the local power utility's water management system. They form a manmade riparian area that is always active with dozens of species of resident and migratory birds year-round.From ducks to parrots to pelicans, you can see a lot.
 
I believe it’s been quite a while since I’ve been here! It was delightful to browse some of the photographs I missed. I’m not sure when exactly the last time I posted here was, so I apologize if there are repeat photos, but I will post my favorites from the last year or so!

I’ve been enjoying taking pictures of what I think of as “moss-scapes.” I believe that these moss photos are from around this time last year:

Woah, these are all awesome. I especially love how you can see the texture in the dragonfly's eye. So cool!
