I'm like "better hurry up and grow out those feathers before the frigid temps come!"Oh my! lol. I have that with my Blue Cochin, of whom really looks like a splash Cochin, I can make three more of her. Ha ha. And it's my rooster, Raphael's first molt. About half my flock is molting at the moment!

This is a really random/weird hypothesis... But I have never seen a Guinea fowl molt.Right? Lol.
I'm in a crazy kinda mood... As always.![]()

They are very... Mysterious birds. Lol. Believe it or not I started out by raising Guinea fowl before chickens. I vow to never have a houshold without them. They are the party starters. LOL. But seriously, very good watch-birds.

Watch, I'll go in the barn and mine will be missing their feathers now.
Mine hatched July 11th. I was surprised they are already molting, but so are the chicks hatched mid August.Wow! That's too funny! I have had them for at least 8 years and I've seen them lose a few feathers but not molt.Watch, I'll go in the barn and mine will be missing their feathers now.
