hi group,i have 8 peachicks, got them as day olds, and they are now a week and a half old, they grew so fast!!
i am planning on dna sexing them when they get feathers.
i live in a regular suburb, and want to keep to peacocks to roam around my yard and the neighbourhood.
the others will go to a farm.
i was told that, there maybe a little fighting in the breeding season, but i kept 7 peacocks in a huge avairy many years ago,and had no troubles
these are all very tame, and will continue to interact on a daily basis.
i keep hearing different reports.
will these two tame peacocks stay in my area without peahens?
from a site that said, that they will till they are mature, and then,no mater how tame, they will fiy off to find a mate?
i cannot hve these birds breed,as i am pushing my luck even having these birds lol
any input would be apreciated
gaza
