Will a Bantam Roo mate with a Standard Sized Hen?

It would take several days of her sitting on the egg. The egg has to stay warm in order for the chick to grow. If she gets off of it during the day to eat and peck around, the temperature doesn't stay high enough for the chick to grow. There have been a few times that we did not get eggs collected that day and collect them all the next, and they are just fine.

That's what we called it when our Banty Rooster Christopher William would mate our standard breed ladies.

He'd literally jump on one of the girls, have to balance like on a surf board...then back up, "daub" and it was done. haha
