Will a chicken overeat??

Hi, Just read a post about a swollen crop.

My question: Will chickens overeat, I thought I read somewhere that chickens won't overeat. Unlike horses who can/will founder.

I have a speckled sussex that is a pig.

If I let her she'll eat till her crop is ready to burst.
