I figured it's a given she will sit in it. I was pondering more along the lines of her buddies not pooping on my beloved DIL's shoulders (kind of like a little safety zone). Also, I am planning (if I'd only follow through with all my good intentions...) on painting a little artwork on the backside (of the bench,
not my daughter's derrière) backrest. Without a bit of protection, I don't believe it would be visible in a week. You know how chickens love their abstract art! I know how about I gift wrap a putty knife with a string attached. I will add it to the gift basket of silliness I've put together. So, she can tether it to the bench and scrape the seat off as need be.
