Yup they will mount just about anything. Poor girl! They are not very romantic about it either.

Usually if she is allowing it she is about mature enough to start laying.

I watched him some more and he is chasing after the others but not able to catch them yet. He even tries sneaking up on them while they are distracted at the feeder, and STILL they get away!

I will enjoy him for a few more days and then, sadly, he has to go away. I am not allowed roosters here and I know one of my neighbors is already frustrated by him.

Last night he was in the run sitting up on the saw horse crowing all the ladies in for the night, too cute!
