Will a sizzle ever lay?

I have 2 sizzles and I think they are ~8 months old now...will they ever lay??? Does anyone have any that lay? I've read that they are "infrequent" layers, but I thought they might at least lay a few here and there by now

Can't answer your question but curious - why is it that they lay "infrequently"?

It says under breeds on the BYC page - Productivity: Low. I'm not really sure why, but I haven't seen an egg yet. Maybe because they are ornamental??
