Will air vent by the roosting nest not be a good idea?

We live in florida and it gets hot so I figure a few vents will help...what is your opinion? the vent will be protected by over hang of roof and vent came with screen.....How cool was that?? And it cost less the a ac vent!!

Never heard of a roosting nest, but they will need a lot of ventilation in that area.
