will an eggs that have been in the fridge hatch?

Quote:
refrigerated eggs will hatch.. It is not recommended, however..

I picked up goose eggs out of the snow all last spring and hatched several of them..

Now as far as the magic marker thing??? DO NOT use on eggs.
I killed a whole batch of 128 eggs at one time a few years ago before I found out that it was a no no.. I had lousy hatch rates until I quit using magic markers.. You will no doubt get contrary feedback on this, so suit yourself..

Well done on getting the eggs!!!!

What I usually do to mark my eggs is to use something natural, even chicken dung if nessecary.

But it won't work with large amounts of eggs...(it gets very confusing)......

Good luck with the eggs, and I hope all goes well.

I placed 6 Orpington eggs from the fridge in the bator and all six hatched. They had been in the fridge for about 2wks. All are happy and healthy.

Sissy, I use the Genesis Hova-bator 1588 with an automatic turner.
I just set the eggs out to get to room temperature and then put them in the bator. Best hatch I have had but maybe I left the bator alone more this time, not really sure.
