I had 4 broody hens setting then a 5th came in to steal some eggs. My 1st hen hatched my guinea eggs Saturday it went great I think.. 11 eggs 10 hatched lost 1 baby keet.
Got home last night thought I had a meet killed by one of the Broodies turned out to be a hatched chick she killed.. Discovered 2 more chicks and 8 eggs hatching.. Moved them all to a different nest box kicked the killer momma out and today I have 7 very lively chicks then this fellow that I have now moved to my bator.. He hatched on his own but still has yolk attached and his belly looks funny.. I didn't know what to do other than move him to the bator!!! Help

I've seen this a few times. Moving the chick to the brooder was a good idea. Let the chick grow as normal with no intervention. Sometimes the body absorbes the rest of the yolk. Good luck!

Well it wiggled it's self loose of the shell now my only concern is that belly that seems like the skin is thin and no much down :/ .. It's walking all over the incubator but how long can I leave it in the bator??
I have a brooder but it's full 2or3 week old chicks..
