Will be setting Silkie Eggs first week of Nov. who is with me?

I candled the 14 eggs, silkies, and they don't have a very good??? I saw only a couple spidery ones. They all were very porous.

I just set like 50+ eggs on the 6th and 7th..mostly silkies but a few LF cochins.

I have 2 paint silkie eggs in the incubator now, due to hatch 11/14. I'm currently collecting more paint eggs (3 so far and counting) so after the 14th, I have more paint silkie eggs to go in!

Good luck to everyone on your hatches! My first order of eggs didn't go so well - at all. 0 of 24 hatched. They didn't arrive in very good condition after shipping. My second order from another seller I was able to hatch 4 of 11. These that I'm incubating now are both doing really well, probably because they didn't have to endure shipping. I'm looking forward to incubating more eggs, even if it's November. It's a fun challenge and it's such a surprise to see what color chick comes out of the egg!
