Will chickens avoid fire?

Not sure this is the right forum, but I have free range birds (Chickens, Guinnea, and Pea's) and was considering building another fire pit in the area they frequent (My current one is far back on my property where they don't really go to). Is there a danger of one of them being too curious and burning themselves?

They are pretty smart but one did get a little curious when I was using the grill the other day, so it made me wonder about a fire pit.

Whenever I start a fire they clear the area. They really aren't stupid animals.
