Will chickens peck at tar paper?

I am still working on the coop. We are insulating the coop. I have put the insulation up and am wondering if I can leave it as is. Should Put some plywood up over the insulation? Would tar paper stapled on work, or would they peck at it. The tar paper is my first choice, I think I would be the easiest and cheapest.

In my experience, chickens will peck at anything. You would be better to at least put some type of thin, relatively, inexpensive plywood over the insulation. A little extra money spent now could save you a lot of money later on.

Insulation is bad for chickens, and yes, they will peck the living daylights out of it....you should cover it with something inexpensive.
