Will Chickens Return To Coop?

My Dominique chickens are around 6 months now, and I've let them free range quite a bit. But, I continue having the problem where they dont want to return to the coop. If I leave a light on the inside, will the chickens return by their selves when it gets dark and time to roost?

A light might help. They do like to return to a coop where they can see to roost. You might want to add windows for a natural light. I would also consider other things like the ventilation and space.
