Will chickens tear up my yard???

Thanks for all of the great info! We have 4 pullets right now and they seem to be doing well. They do love the grape vines! They actually jump to get at more leaves! Our RIR can catch quite a bit of air just jumping straight up! Too funny! We also compost grass clippings in the area and they love to dig through that. As for the paths, we just try to hose them down from time to time. We'll have to try the "spanking" - I'm sure they will feel very insulted!

Might also want to make sure your zoning allows chickens.
