will dog attack put girls off laying

My girls are just over 23weeks and yesterday we had a dog attack, thankfully nobody died! will this make them longer to start laying please

It might take a day or so but they get over it pretty quick. 2 of my girls got out the other evening while my dogs were out, and the one they "terrorized" laid an egg the next morning!

It's soooo hard to wait for that first egg! I have 4 "big" girls 1 1 /2 yrs old, 3 of whom are laying regularly and twelve 3 1/2 wk old chicks and I know I will be anxious for them to lay! I never saw my big girls "squat" before they started laying...
