Will friendly hens raise friendly chicks?

My very people friendly, almost lap chicken satin hen just went broody. I’ve given her some delaware eggs to hatch out...

So I was wondering, would they learn to be just as people friendly as mamma hen?

Probably not. They'll have the genetics and may come closer, but mama will likely not be friendly towards you when she has babies.

Just wanted to update, the first chick hatched tonight, and momma didn't mind me holding it for her. hopefully she'll be equally as chill when she's off the nest!
