((( big mistake.
there will be no one here to turn off the turner......

so i was wondering can i turn off the turner 24 hours earlier......or is it going to cause problems for the chicks?

Nope- did this two hatches ago and the did fine. I only had two eggs but they both hatched out beautifully. It was about day 21 when I realized I put them in lockdown on the wrong day.

I have mixed up dates before, locking the bator down a day early, and once two days late (discovering a pip as I started to candle the eggs...).

They'll be fine.
