Will he get his tail back by Dec. 4th?

I am finally seeing some feathers come back in on the tail of my Cream Brabanter Roo. He is only 4 1/2 months old, but I would like him to have a tail before we take him to a show in December. I am not taking him to place, just to exihibit with a hen or two.
So how long does it take a feather to grow?

I think its six to twelve weeks if I am not mistaken... also depends on what you're feeding him. I'd start feeding a Game Bird chow at 20%.

Sometimes they don't take off for no tail feathers. especially if molting!

He didn't molt, he was "Hen Pecked".

I have just started them on game bird chow, as I am out of my regular feed. Maybe that will help.
