Will hens lay if in direct sunlight?

I'm trying to figure out how to position my nestboxes. Should I make sure to keep it out of the sunlight, so it's sort of a 'den', or will they still use it even if sunlight shines into it?

they prefer to "hideaway"... if they MUST they will lay in the sun... all of mine are under shaded areas.. or inside the coops
