Will I be making omlettes or stew?

All girls.

And very pretty girls too!

Would a chick pic of the br help sway anyone into either camp? I see often that people say they can tell immediately on br chick.

I feel

waiting for these guys to show me one way or another! We've already had 2 roosters out of the original 5, so I'm nervous!

Nope...I absolutely %100 do not want to hear that! I'd be beyond sad if she is a rooster!

But....and I'm certainly not pointing fingers....really I'm not...but I posted more threads than I really should have about my BA and NOBODY thought she was a he until the bitter end. We just ate him...after he crowed...and he was anatomically a roo according to my hubs.

So...I feel nervous.

I know there is no guarantee just trying to give the most info possible to make the best guess?

I'm putting you in the categorically not a rooster group! Thanks!

I have 3 barred rocks and they are 15 weeks and my definite female who is twice as dark as yours has a bigger comb and wattles. There is no doubt she's female. It's funny how hers grew in quicker than my other females. I had a friend think she was a rooster. I corrected them and pointed out that the lighter ones were more rooster colored. This confused my friend!

Okay....so I was wrong about the br age. I counted on the calendar today and she is actually 15 weeks possibly 16 depending on her exact hatch date.

So....it seems as though she must be right on target for her age.

Which also means....................

I could be getting more eggs than I had hoped for this summer!

Thanks for the reassurance.
