Will I get sick?

I may or may not have recently eaten some eggs from chickens that are on medicene. Am I going to get sick? How sick?

You don't mention what sort of medicine, but realistically on a one time deal the amount of any medicine in a given egg is so minute that you should have no problems whatsoever.

It was Oxytetracycline. It was only once so I figured I'd probably be ok. If someone continued to eat these eggs what would happen? I've seen lots of info saying not to eat them, but nothing that says WHY not to eat them.

I have been on Oxytetracycline 250 mg tablets/ three times daily for a 30 day time period with no adverse affects. You will be fine.

Oh! So its not exclusive to chickens or poultry! ? Thank you very much for the info. Does this mean I can keep eating them? Or is it better to be safe than sorry?

Better safe than sorry on the outside chance that you might be allergic.
