Excuse me? Do you have children? Until you yourself have dealt with the raising of a child you should keep comments like these to yourselves. NOBODY can supervise a child 24/7, it is impossible. Even child services knows that. The OP was looking for suggestions on how to help keep her son safe, not comments on how her son is an ad for birth control, or that SS is going to come and get her.
This stuff can happen to anyone, no matter how dilligent they are with watching their child or childproofing their house. Kids will be kids; they are supposed to figure things out, you just have to try and be one step ahead of them at all times. It is a daily challenge but well worth the effort in the end.
