Here is my question.
If I have a regular non-Turken Rooster mate with a female Turken and she hatches a Turken baby is that chick female? Could she hatch a male Turken if the Father is not a Turken?

I've never heard of the NN gene being sex linked before. Not experienced with genetics, though. @pipdzipdnreadytogo @NatJ @JacinLarkwell Any ideas?

Either sex can be NN.
If the hen has one NN gene 1/2 the offspring will be NN.
If she has two NN genes all the offspring will be NN.
A good hint is if she has a small patch of feathers on her neck she has one gene.
If it's completely bare down to her breast she has two.

Yeah, naked neck is autosomal, not sexlinked. She'll pass the trait to both her sons and daughters, the percentage of each inheriting it depending on how many naked neck genes she has, as Moony explained.
