Will leaving eggs in the nest encourage broodiness?

If i get say 5 female silkies how many times can i expect them to brood?

Depends on the individual hens, but they are VERY broody usually. Most of mine brood at least twice a year.

I will definitely be getting those, and are wyandottes broody?
