Will leghorn have pinkish color at base of feathers?

So I have a mystery chick that's finally getting some feathers. They are white, except at the base there is a pinkish color. I had assumed this chick was a packing peanut as I ordered 3 and got 5.

Do white leghorns or white rocks have a little pink color when their feathers are coming in?

I believe all chicks do. It's the blood vessels.

My white leghorns actually feathered in some reddish feathers very early on. They were surprise pullets so I thought they might be very light sexlinks but by 6 weeks they were solid white again.
