I will try to get some pics after this first lockdown, unfortunately I had to do lock down in a scatter hatch becuse the P.O. *$%^&ED* be over a delivery, If I get the bator for lockdown today and I can get it settled before any of my lockdown eggs in there show progress I will switch them over today and be able to get some pics of patch, otherwise maybe this weekend I can get some pics after the 7 eggs that are ready do their thing...
I had to patch a cracked egg with crayon, and it worked beautiful. A big blob of green crayon wax. I cracked the egg myself when I was putting them in the carton to take them outside to my broody hen. I hatched a beautiful little polish-cross baby, and had no problems. I was so impressed! Nature is amazing!
hummmm, patch might have quite, and one other egg too, will have to watch them for a few more days, not seeing much activity and have slowed in devlopment behind other 3 eggs in the same shipment....
some of my quail eggs had small cracks in them and i took some elmers glue to the crack and all of the quail hatched but dont use to much glue cuz they wont be able to hatch out
