Welcome to BYC! Glad you decided to join our flock. The other members have done a good job answering your other questions, so I'll answer the question about the Easter Egger lay rate. I've raised Easter Eggers for years and their lay rate depends to some degree on which brown egg laying parents are used in producing them as they are hybrids. Typically I have found them to be good layers, laying about 3 (occasionally 4) eggs per hen per week. Please feel free to ask any other questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can.
