Will my 3 day old eggs survive a power outage?

Hi all, I am new here. I am learning so much on these forum boards- thank you for such great info! My question is I started incubating 36 mixed chicken eggs on Sunday morning. I had perfect temp and humidity until the power went out last night due to an ice storm. The power was out for about 8 hours and my incubator went down to 65 degrees.

Should I start over with new eggs or keep the ones that I have and hope for the best? I bought the eggs from a local farmer who said I should just come and get 36 more and start over but I need a second opinion!

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

they will likely be fine- ask him/her to "let you practice on this set. You'll let them know that they were right later..."

We had a planned power outage last weekend for 24 hours. I used a deep cycle battery and a power inverter to keep my incubator going.

I already owned both the battery and inverter, but they would cost you about $120 for both if you wanted one in advance. You would also need a battery charger, another $50-100, which I already own as well.

I would not give up on those eggs, candle the eggs in a few more days and see. I had a power outage as well on day 2(not as long as yours) a few hours and the temp got down to 70-75 and I just candled them on day 10 and all are developing.
