Will my chicken ever start laying?

I have a hen from April this year,who still hasn’t started laying she did have patsy butt when she was just a few days old and have always been smaller but is now the same size as the other chicken. She is starting to lay in the nesting boxes but the other chicken have been laying for about 2 months. So when will she lay?

So when will she lay?

When shes darn well and ready.
If she's inspecting the nests, it could be very soon.
Some just take longer to come into lay.

She is pretty.
I have a freeloader who I got as a day-old chick in late March and she hasn't even started showing interest in the nest boxes yet. I imagine as the days are now so short she will wait until the spring.
