Will my chickens kill my maple tree?

Well, now I feel silly

I completely forgot I had posted about this, when I searched for the topic I didn't even notice it was mine.
We did finally move the run about a month ago and currently have 10 chickens out there. We have 5 more chicks in the brooder in our sunroom. Like I said I noticed they have exposed some of the roots yesterday and am looking for suggestions for protecting the tree or is it fine and nothing to worry about? The girls don't get to free range anymore since they now have a huge run. But when they free ranged they spent tons of time under our Leylands & bushes that line the fence line and they all seem to be fine.

It will likely be fine. My run is under a line of trees and the chickens haven't been able to hurt them in 5yrs being located there. Yes the roots may get exposed more, but the benefits of having a chicken run with lots of wood chips/organics, lots more worms, chicken poop, and general better soil biology will outweigh that
