I have 2 Australorp hens 1 Black Sex Link hen and 1 Australorp rooster. I’ve recently clipped all their wings except for my roosters. I know if you breed birds like parrots, the males wings can’t be clipped or they can’t keep balance when breeding. Does this apply to roosters? If I clip my roosters wings will he still breed? They’re all to young to breed right now but I want to know for the future. Also, will my rooster breed with the Black Sex link as well? Or will he avoid her because she’s different? Will my rooster actively breed all the hens for the first time when he’s ready or do I need to do something to help? Do they have good instinct to start breeding?

He'll figure it out all on his own. No need to help. I haven't clipped wings on my chickens, so I can't say whether or not it will affect breeding, but I don't think so.

Clipping wings does not hinder breeding, at least in my experience.

EDT: With only three pullets, all his own age, you might wish to set up a separate area for him, just in case. Australorps are decent roosters, but many/most cockerels are hormonal rapists, especially without an older boy around to keep an eye on things.

Everything above is correct and no he will take any lady who accept him lol usually roo s aren't even allowed breeding rights by hens themselves till a full year of age minimum and must show cababilities to lead the flock, otherwise hens can and will 'flush' any semen from breeding so his genetics can't be passed on to offspring and get weak chicks

How old are your birds?
Clipping before 6 months is risky, but maybe you know about blood(or pin) feathers if you've had parrots?

If your birds are not old enough to mate they are pullets and cockerel(until one year old).
Cockerels will become sexually mature before the pullets, they will try to forcefully mount the pullets and they will not submit, it can get ugly.
