Will My Coturnix Lay?

I just purchased Coturnix quail from West Michigan Game Birds. I got two males and two females. They are ten weeks old. They haven't layed any eggs in the one day they were here. Are they just getting used to their new environment or are they duds in the production area? Thanks!

I would give them a week or so to adjust. Something like moving them can cause them to stop laying for a bit.

Are you sure they are females too. Check the vent.(hole under neath) Press lightly and if white stuff comes out boy if not girl.

My quail are too skitish to vent sex but here are pictures of them:

That's what I thought, two males and two females. I'm okay with that as I expect I'll be hatching some eggs next summer. Thanks everybody!
