Will my Drakes Drown my new Hens?

I have three drake cayugas. They are free range. They are locked up at night. This year they drowned a hen in the pond (a kiddie pool). Then, I had a drake (recovered from an injury), that they also drown 3 days after I reintro-d him to the flock. We turned that pool upside down after I finally caught two of the drakes trying to the drown the 3rd smaller one.

I have 2 two month old Pekin hens. They look full size for sure. They are penned in right now. They want to come out and play. Should I risk this? The drakes are so peaceful and calm around the yard. They have not tried to drown each other in the ditch that sometimes fills will water. I purposely got Pekins because I thought they would not get harassed as much being so much bigger. I'm new to ducks ;) I am willing to get rid of two of my drakes. I just want to see what more experienced duck owners' thoughts are!!

Thanks!

1. 2 ducks are not enough for your flock. They will be gang raped by your drakes. You'll need to get rid of 2 of them.

2. If they have already drowned other birds do not give them a kiddie pool. Especially when the girls are so young. They will have meet the same fate as the others.

I definitely will never fill a kiddie pool again as long as we have even a single drake in our flock.

We had more hens, but lost all three to hawks. Two carried off, one due to injury. These hens were add ons. I still think maybe one drake to even 10 hens would be plenty! After seeing first hand the gang rape and how violent they are with each other sometimes! I can't stand to watch it. I guess I will have to get rid of two of them. Have to be honest with myself. It's a dreamworld thinking they'll just all get along.

How do I choose!?

If you saw the two larger Drakes trying to drown the 3rd I would get rid of them. Unless they are better quality and you planned on breeding them.
