I have Anacona duck eggs in my incubator. I know they take 28 days to hatch, but mine are on day 30. They are jiggling, but no peeping. As far as I can tell the air cell is still in tact and the ducklings inside look really small. I don't think they are all the way developed. Should I leave them in there and just wait patiently and see if they hatch? At what point do I give up? How long is too long for them to hatch and be healthy?

If they're still moving, don't lose hope! Maybe they could be shrinkwrapped?

I've had ducks hatch 2 days late before, but they were usually internally pipped at that point. If they are moving, give them some time. Is it possible that you got Muscovy or goose eggs by mistake?

Try to hold one to your ear in a quiet room, if you hear, "click, click, click" it means it has pipped internally, and that is a good sign.
