hi! so i'm hatching silkies (this is my first time, though i've hatched button quails before) and i bought the same incubator as when i hatched button quails because i had experience with it. lately i've been having issues with temperature, though; i'll go to bed and it'll be at a nice 100 degrees (it's still-air) but when i wake up its at 95! i think it's because it's winter and my room gets no insulation in the floor because it's above the garage. there's 11 days left until they hatch. will they be alright with this kind of temperature fluctuation? if not, how can i fix it or help it? i constantly watch it to make sure it doesnt get too hot or cold but i can't exactly do that while i sleep :c

thank you!

Should be fine..... wrap the incubator with a towel so it can retain heat better.

Is incubator on the floor?
If so, might be good to get it off the floor.
Wrapping it can help, make sure you don't cover the vents.

Better too low than too high...but does it automatically adjust higher or do you have to turn it up?

Have you tested/calibrated your thermometers?

i actually found a way to fix it! all i had to do was put a space heater in my room lol. now the temperature is steady c:

Hopefully that space heater is thermostatically controlled...
...and safe(they make me as nervous as heat lamps).
