Will my mallard hen return home

Hello everyone. I have two mallard pet ducks, one male, one female, that I’ve raised since the day they were born / hatched. They are a 1yr & 8months old. Two days ago the female left, The male is still here and he has been calling for her and looking for her…and so have I. Will she come back?

Welcome to BYC! I’m sorry about your duck. She may have been taken by a predator or there is a small chance she hid to lay eggs..
