Will my runner duck go broody again

Hi there I'm new around here and from England! Glad to be part of an informative site as I need help! I recently had a broody runner duck, she was doing so well and reached 15 to 16 days until her nest was predated, my question is will she become broody again and will it be this year? I am so disappointed for her and me as this was our first time.
Any help or advice would be great x

Do you have a drake to fertilize the eggs, if not they wouldn't have hatched? Next time she goes broody(and she should) give her a secure area to have her nest in, or predators will devour them again.

Hi yes we have a drake. I did manage to candle them and they would have hatched if they had survived! Next time I will corner off a section of the run for her and only her.
