Will my salty well water affect my chickens....

We just moved to our home in June, beautiful 20 acres but the downfall is the well water. We had it tested, it is safe to drink it is just incredibly salty, we talked about drilling a new well but just the area as a whole is salty. We have horses that don't mind it. I just bought baby chicks, will this affect them in any way?

We also have salty well water....We put in a water system for our house water....I raise Chickens and Ducks...The water does not effect the birds , horses or my Dogs....

I think your will be the same....

If it is safe for you, it should be safe for your birds. You might contact your County Agricultural Extension agent to validate.
