This is my first flock. I want to know if they are a good combo together. 1 standard light brahma hen, 1 blue cochin hen, 1 copper marans hen, 1 easter egger hen, and 1 copper black marans rooster. They will all be one day old when I get them. Any thoughts are greatly appreciated. Also, I am building them a 8X4 pallet/plywood coop, with an inclosed 10x10 covered dog run, if that is of importance.
I HAVE ACTUALLY JUST DECIDED, AFTER DOING ALOT MORE RESEARCH, TO GET A BRAHMA, AN ORPINGTON, A COCHIN, AND A BLACK AUSTROLORP, AND NO ROOSTER AS OF YET.. MY CHICKS WILL ARRIVE MID-FEB, IF ALL GOES ACCORDING TO PLAN!
