My pullets are 22 weeks old (1 NHR, 2 BR, 2 RIR) and 16 weeks old (2 EE). I am wondering, due to the decreased light during the winter, will they lay their first eggs around the average time, or will it be delayed until spring?

Thanks!

I got some chicks at TSC in May and my White Leghorn, Black Sex Link and Gold Comet have all started laying in the last week. My slower developers haven't laid yet and may not til Spring, never know.

I also have a few pullets that are 22 weeks old and i am wondering the same thing. I have heard of them laying in the winter times, but it could wait until next spring...just hoping it wont.
