just wanted to add my 2 cents here. Cortunix cortunix has a diet very similar to chickens. Their diet in the wild is a mix of grasses, insects, and insect larvae. They go absolutely crazy for worms and spiders that crawl by. They will NOT eat most ants or any type of stink bugs due to bad taste, but then again most other animals wouldn't either. Since ticks are part of the spider family, I would assume they would eat them. I have not put this to the test, but next time I catch a tick on me, i'll try it.
